Where It Breaks was created during a period of pause and uncertainty. The composition holds tension between softness and pressure, muted forms interrupted by a concentrated red presence that feels both contained and on the verge of release.
Developed in a larger, more instinctive scale, the work explores the moment just before something shifts, when holding on and letting go exist at the same time.
